Stephen Joseph Castelli

Stephen Joseph Castelli Sr., 40, of Northfield Road, Attleboro, died on Monday, August 11, 2003 upon arrival at Sturdy Memorial Hospital after having been stricken while jogging. He was the husband of Cheryl A. (DelSignore) Castelli to whom he was married on March 26, 1994. Born in Attleboro, MA on December 13, 1962, he was a son of Suzanne (Swift) Castelli of Otisfield, Maine and the late Robert J. Castelli, Sr. Born and raised in Mansfield, he was a 1981 graduate of Mansfield High School. Mr. Castelli was employed as a manager for the Robert Allen Group in Mansfield for the past 22 years. He resided in Attleboro for the past 5 years having previously resided in South Carolina, Taunton and Mansfield. Mr. Castelli was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Attleboro. An avid golfer, he was a member of the Tuesday night league at Stone-E-Lea golf course in Attleboro. A sports enthusiast, he enjoyed, snowmobiling, boating and was a member of a floor hockey team. In addition to his wife of 9 years and his mother, he leaves four sons: Anthony Robert Castelli and Joseph Michael Castelli both at home; Stephen Joseph Castelli, Jr. and Justin Matthew Castelli both of Harwich; a sister: Robin Castelli of Otisfield, Maine; two brothers: Robert J. Castelli, Jr. of Wallingford, CT and Christopher Castelli of Plainville; 2 godchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral service on Friday, August 15, 2003 at 8:00 PM in the ?Commonwealth Chapel? of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2003 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the ?Commonwealth Chapel? of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. Supervised children?s room available during visitation and the funeral service. Those in need of a ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 for free transportation.
