Star S. (Guerra) Herrera, 72, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at HopeHealth Hospice Hulitar Center in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of Manfredo Herrera.
Born on March 29, 1947 in Richmond, TX, she was the daughter of the late Augustine Guerra II and the late Benita Cortez Jasso.
A graduate of Lamar High School in Texas, her most important work, for which she was most proud, was as a homemaker for her family. She also worked for many years in a bakery in Baton Rouge, LA.
A resident of Attleboro for the past thirty-three years, she was a warm, kind, caring woman with the most wonderful smile who delighted in helping others. The center of her world was her family, and she truly treasured spending time with them.
In addition to her husband, Manfredo, she leaves her loving children: Sandy Watson of Wallis, TX; Betty E. Lakin of Grand Junction, CO; and Jason Lakin of Rosenberg, TX. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and the dear sister of Shirley Toledo of Richmond, TX, and the late Augustine Guerra. Star leaves many nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
