Sophie R. Kerr

Sophie R. (Bloch) Kerr, J.D., 97, of Walpole, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Ellis Nursing Home in Norwood, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late A. Robert Kerr.Born on September 24, 1920 in Easthampton, MA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Leocadia (Sitnik) Bloch.Mrs. Kerr was a graduate of Easthampton High School, Class of 1938, and the former Portia Law School in Boston, MA. A caring and loving Homemaker for her family, she attended St. Mary's Church in Wrentham, MA, and enjoyed reading and traveling on cruise ships.She is survived by her children: Peter A. Kerr and his wife, Diane, of Fredericksburg, VA; and Jeffrey A. Kerr and his wife, Cindy, of Walpole, MA.
