Skender Kruja, 52, of East Washington Street, North Attleboro, died surrounded by his loving and devoted family at his residence on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 following a three year illness. He was the close friend of Jeannette A. Duphily with whom he resided and was the former spouse of Jeannie (Raymond) Kruja of West Bridgewater. Born in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts on December 21, 1960, he was a son of the late Shaban and Anna (Probst) Kruja. He was raised in Brockton and resided in West Bridgewater prior to settling in North Attleboro in 1998. Mr. Kruja proudly served with the Massachusetts National Guard Reserve program. For more than 20 years, Mr. Kruja was employed as a scheduler for Navix Diagnostics in Taunton. Mr. Kruja was a history afficianado, enjoyed reading the daily Boston Herald and enjoyed political debates. In addition to his dear friend and former wife, he leaves a son: Skender Kruja of West Bridgewater; a sister: Fatima McNamee of Brockton and several extended family members and dear friends. He was the brother of the late Ali Kruja. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation with Massachusetts National Guard Honors on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
