Sharon J. Viera (Payson) 75, of Attleboro, MA., passed away peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2024, at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony "Tony" Viera.
Born in Attleboro, MA., on October 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Edith (Battersby) Payson.
Sharon was a lifelong Attleboro resident who worked in all areas that Attleboro is known for until she retired from Christopher Heights as the Activates Director. Sharon enjoyed volunteering for many different organizations throughout Attleboro. She loved arts and crafts, her family and close friends often referredto her as the "Queen of the glue gun".
She is survived by her loving sons, Marc A. Lumbra of Attleboro, MA., Kevin K. Lumbra and his wife Gloria of Williamsburg, VA., and Jason G. Roy and his partner Tierney of Nokesville, VA. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Vanessa Charron of Franklin, MA, Kaela Lumbraof Attleboro, MA., Elizabeth Roy of San Antonio, TX, Emily Kurbiec of Dennis, MA., and Matthew Roy of Falls Church, VA. She is also survived by her sweetest great grandchildren,Avery & Julien Charron of Franklin, MA., and Lyllian Browne, of Dennis, MA; Sharon is also survived by her devoted sisters, Deborah Bach, Brenda Guevremont, and Rhona Hainsworth.
