Sharon A. Guise-Keniston, 76, of Brewster, Massachusetts, formerly of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at her home with family by her side. Sharon was the loving wife of Robert Keniston for 43 years.
Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Bernard "Jack" Guise and the late Sylvia Guise. Upon immigrating to the United States, her family made their home in North Attleboro. Sharon was a graduate of North Attleboro High School.
Sharon had a successful career in bank management both in the Attleboro area and on Cape Cod, where she and Bob moved in 1980.
Sharon loved nature and the outdoors. She enjoyed biking, hiking, and kayaking. She especially loved the ocean, whether she was in it, on it, or alongside it searching for beach glass. She volunteered at the Cape Cod National Seashore, Habitat for Humanity, Americorp Seniors Program and wherever she could lend a hand. Her acts of kindness were endless.
In addition to her husband, Sharon is survived by sisters Patricia Iaconis (husband, Ernie) of North Attleboro, MA and Suzanne Barber (husband, Rich) of Brewster, MA; step-sister, Nancy Malick, of California; nephews, Michael Iaconis and Derek Barber (wife, Alyson); and niece, Michelle Burrell (husband, Chris) along with extended family and friends. She was the aunt of the late Mark Iaconis.
Sharon's family and friends will miss her smile, wit, compassion, caring, sense of humor, generosity, love of nature, love of life and love of us. Her family and friends will forever miss Sharon. She would have liked you all to remember her with a smile.
In lieu of services and flowers, and in honor of Sharon, her family would like to request you do something that makes you or someone else smile - an act of kindness or something funny.
