Sharil Ann (Coan) Dufour, 64, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She was the loving wife of the late Kenneth Alan Dufour Sr. who passed on May 19, 2020
Born in Winsted, Connecticut on Friday, December 26th, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Homer Coan and the late Barbara Nettie (Drolett) Coan.
Raise and educated in Connecticut, Sharil continued her education at Newbury College where she earned her associate degree as a physical therapy assistant. She spent her working career as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Oakland Grove Health Center in Woonsocket, RI.
Much of Sharil's downtime was spent reading and watching British mystery television shows. In her younger years, she enjoyed making cross-stitches to surprise her family with gifts made with love. She also liked to spend time gardening, taking on the weeds that wanted to take away from her beautiful blooming flowers.
Dedicated to her church and her church family, she was an active member of Lighthouse Christian Church in North Smithfield, RI. where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship.
Left to mourn her loss are her daughter: Heather L. Dufour of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, and her son: Kenneth Alan Dufour II of North Attleboro, Massachusetts; Her sister Donna Coan in Florida, a nephew, many loved cousins, extended family, and members of the church. She is predeceased by her sister Bonnie (Coan) Baska.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
