Shantaben M. Patel, 83, of East Wareham, MA, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital, New Bedford, MA. She was the beloved wife of Manibhai L. Patel who died on November 7, 2014. Born on December 15, 1933 in Vanesa Gujarat, India, she was the daughter of the late Dullbhbhai and Nandiben Patel.Shantaben received her education in India, and resided in North Attleboro, MA for many years before moving to East Wareham, MA.She is survived by her cherished sons: Mahesh M. Patel and Dilip M. Gandhi.Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Hindu Funeral Service on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, ¾ mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
