Shakariben Vishabhai Patel

Shakariben Vishabhai Patel, 87, of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29, 2022, at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Vishabhai Patel.
Born on April 4, 1935, in Akhaj, Gujarat, India, where she was raised and educated, Shakariben was the daughter of the late Ambalal Patel and the late Nathiben Patel.
Having moved to the United States in 2012, she cherished her role as a matriarch for her family. A woman of deep faith and commitment to her family, Shakariben will be remembered for her witty remarks and funny jokes. She enjoyed being at home, especially enjoyed listening to Krishna's bhajans, watching Gujarati entertainment, as well as watching cartoons with her great grandchildren.
She was the loving mother of three sons and five daughters. Shakariben was loved by three sisters and three brothers. Shakariben will be dearly missed by her eight loving children and beloved daughter-in-laws: Sitaben, Lilaben, Savitaben, Becharbhai, Kashmiraben, Hansaben, Manjulaben, Kanubhai, Minaben Dineshbhai, and Kailashben as well as her twenty four grandchildren. Shakariben leaves her dear younger brother and sister, Kantibhai and Rhaiben. She was very adoring and pampering towards her great grandchildren, who were very blessed to make sweet memories with her. Shakariben leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will truly be missed.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Traditional Hindu Visitation and Ritual Service on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Traditional Final Prayer and Cremation Service at 12:00 Noon at Woodlawn North Purchase Crematory, Attleboro, MA.
