Scott Ellis Cole, 68, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away on October 20, 2022, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a period of declining health. He was the husband of Christine Mary (Moore) Cole whom he married on August 20, 1977.
Born in Attleboro, MA, on April 24, 1954, he was a son of the late James Grady Cole and the late Ruth E. (Field) Cote. He was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro where he was a 1972 graduate of Attleboro High School and remained a lifelong resident of his native city. He received his CDL license to operate heavy equipment in Florida.
Mr. Cole was a truck driver for New England Pottery in Foxboro, MA, for 15 years prior to his retirement.
He attended Second Congregational Church in Attleboro.
Scott was a member of the Attleboro B.P.O.E. - #1012, enjoyed time spent on his motorcycle, enjoyed driving big trucks, going for rides, had a lifelong love for animals, and spending time at home, but more than anything else, the time cherished with his wife.
In addition to his wife, he leaves: a son: Michael Scott Cole of Turners Falls, MA; two grandchildren: Brody Michael Cole and Gavin Matthew Cole both of Turners Falls, MA, and extended family including his wife's family and many friends.
Visitation is respectfully omitted.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro, MA. Burial will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Scott may be made to the Attleboro Animal Shelter.
