Sarah Jane (Mcchesney) Gosselin

Sarah Jane (McChesney) Gosselin, 44, of Providence, RI, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of Peter A. Gosselin, whom she married on January 15, 2017.
Born on February 9, 1978, in Attleboro, MA, she was the loving daughter of Donald W. McChesney of Attleboro and the late Janice Elaine (Ferrara) McChesney.
Raised and educated in Attleboro, Sarah was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1996, and received her Bachelor's degree from Marist College and her Master's degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. A speech and language pathologist, she was employed at The Miriam Hospital in Providence for ten years.
Sarah had a sharp wit and amazing comedic timing. She could turn an everyday event into a silly story or even a song, always pushing those around her to think about things from a smart and hilarious point of view to lighten the mood. She was a lover of language and words and often picked up sayings from patients and colleagues, or invented creative nicknames for people, working them into conversation at the perfect times from that point on. In addition to her family, she loved yoga, traveling, finding a bargain and her little Chihuahua named Lovey. Sarah will be greatly missed.
In addition to her husband, Peter, and her father, Donald, she leaves her cherished daughter, Sunday Norenne Gosselin, and stepson, Aidan Grey Gosselin, both of Providence, RI. She was the dear sister of Paul N. McChesney of Foxboro, MA, and Elizabeth A. McChesney of North Attleboro, MA. Sarah is survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, her extended family, and many dear friends.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Friends and relatives are also invited to attend a Memorial Visitation the following morning, Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Celebration of Life and Remembrance Service at 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel".
All are invited to attend a Graveside Service which will follow on Thursday, July 21, 2022, in Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Providence, RI.
