Sarah E. (McBlain) Maloney, 78, of East Washington Street, North Attleboro, died on April 8, 2013 at the Charlwell House in Norwood. She was the wife of the late John Michael Maloney, Jr. who died in January. Born in Ireland on August 27, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Norris) McBlain. She was raised and educated in England and was a resident of North Attleboro for many years. She attended the First United Methodist Church of North Attleboro. Her favorite pastimes included bowling, playing Canasta and ceramic and cake decorating. She leaves two children: Martha A. Brush of Mansfield and John M. Maloney III of Nashua, NH; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her siblings: Elizabeth McBlain, Harry McBlain and James McBlain all in England and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was the mother of the late Debra E. Ayoun who died on August 6, 2010 and was the sister of the late John McBlain and Mary Hume. Public visitation is respectfully omitted. Family and friends will be invited to attend a committal service on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, MacArthur Boulevard, Bourne where she will rest eternally beside her late husband and daughter. Inurnment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery Columbarium, Bourne.
