Sarah Katherine Caffelle, Age 6L. G. Norse Student in Norton Sarah Katherine Caffelle, 6, of Toad Island Road, Norton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, April 9, 2006 upon arrival at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Born in Brockton, Massachusetts on July 31, 1999, she was a cherished daughter of Stephen Michael and Nicole Anne (Marochino) Caffelle. Sarah resided in Norton her entire young life and was currently enrolled as a kindergarten student at the L. G. Norse Elementary School on Plain Street in Norton. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed as a ?care free? ?free spirit? who would envelop family, friends, teachers, fellow students and even new acquaintances with her charismatic personality, wit and charm. Sarah preferred to be the leader and second to no one and would often engage in contagious laughter. As a young girl, she loved to swim, ride her scooter and bicycle and make creative things. Already described as the ?class clown?, she treasured the time spent with her ?baby dolls?. Upon entering a room, Sarah would light up a room with her zest for life. One of her favorite pastimes was singing whether alone or as part of a group. She was a Brownie with Troop 492 that meets at the Trinitarian Congregational Church in Norton, loved gymnastics that she practiced at the Norton Y.M.C.A. and was a member of the Norton Youth Soccer League. She and her family attend St. John?s Episcopal Church in Taunton where Sarah was a member of the Sunday school program. Described as an ?old spirit? she loved to use her charm and personality to ?wrap people around her little finger?. In addition to her loving parents, she leaves a big sister: Lauren E. Caffelle, age 9, of Norton; a little brother: Andrew S. Caffelle, age 4, of Norton; her paternal grandmother: Ruth E. (Pearce) Caffelle of Plainville; maternal grandparents: Guy D. and Sharon R. (Holmes) Marochino of North Easton and several aunts, uncles, cousins, educators, classmates and friends. She was the paternal granddaughter of the late William C. Caffelle, Jr. who died on December 22, 1999. Relatives, teachers, classmates and family friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Thursday, April 13, 2006 from 4:00 ? 8:00 PM in the ?Memorial Chapel? of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Young children are encouraged to draw pictures or write a letter in memory of their friend, Sarah, and bring to visitation. Children?s room is available during visitation. Those in need of a ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis transportation. Friends are cordially invited to join the family for funeral services on Friday, April 14, 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. John?s Episcopal Church, 370 Bay Street, Taunton with Rev. Billie Mae Gordon, Rector, officiating. Burial will follow in Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton. Following services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of refreshment and fellowship. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sarah?s name may be made to the Sarah Katherine Caffelle Memorial Fund, c/o Banknorth, 2 North Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.
