Sandra P. Montgomery

Sandra P. (Piper) Montgomery, 64, of York, Maine, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Attleboro, MA. Born on July 3, 1951 in Concord, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Roland H. Piper and the late Lutie (Knox) Piper.Sandra was a graduate of Concord (NH) High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Hampshire. During her career in education she taught elementary school and pre-school. Later, she became a professional florist, and also a retail store manager.Although Sandra was a Massachusetts resident, she spent her entire life visiting, enjoying and being with family along the ocean shoreline of York, Maine. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, painting, and gardening. Sandra's creative flairs came out in everything that she did. Nothing put as big a smile on her face, however, as when she could spend time with her family and beloved grandchildren.She is survived by her three loving children: Benjamin B. Montgomery and his wife, Sarah, of Maryland; Timothy K. Montgomery of Franklin, MA; and Jonathan P. Montgomery and his wife, Jill, of Norton, MA. She leaves five beautiful and vibrant grandchildren: Quinn Fila-Montgomery, Abbie Fila-Montgomery, Gabe Montgomery, Jake Montgomery, and Gwen Montgomery. Sandra was excitedly looking forward to the birth of a new grandson. She was the sister of the late Frederick Piper. Sandra was the former wife of Charles B.
