Samol Thorng

Samol Thorng, 80, of Fort Wayne, IN, formerly of Fall River, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Parkview Hospital Randallia in Fort Wayne. He was the husband of Kimleng Norng.
Born on July 4, 1939 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where he was raised and educated, he was the son of the late Nhim Thorng.
Samol worked for many years as a picture frame Manufacturing Assembler for the government of Cambodia before retiring.
A resident of Fort Wayne for the past year, he previously lived for twenty years in Fall River, having come to the United States in 1983 and first residing in Richland Hill, TX.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children: Bun Thorng of Fort Wayne; IN; Sreybonn Thorng of Fort Worth, TX; Rathan Thorng of Fall River, MA; Sarah Tham of Plainville, MA; Sophal Thorng of Fort Worth, TX; Thy Thorng of Fort Worth, TX; and Linda Thorng of Fall River, MA. He was a proud grandfather and loving brother and leaves his extended family and many good friends.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at North Purchase Cemetery in Attleboro.
