Sameer Dilipkumar Vagal, 39, of Roslindale, MA, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 9, 2022.
Born on October 4, 1982, in Springfield, MA, he was the cherished son of Dilipkumar Vagal, MD, and Pratibha D. (Shertukde) Vagal, MD, of Laguna Woods, CA.
Sameer received his Bachelor's degree from Bryant University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Suffolk University, and worked for many years in the finance industry for companies like State Street Corporation, Mellon Financial, and Transamerica Financial Advisors.
A resident of Roslindale for the past six months, he previously lived in Ludlow, MA.
As a young man, Sameer enjoyed participating in school drama performances, and he always loved music. More than anything, he simply enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Sameer leaves his loving brother, Amit D. Vagal and his wife, Manka Vagal, as well as his treasured nephew, Arjun Vagal, and niece, Aanya Vagal, all of Irvine, CA, and his extended family and many dear friends.
A Private Hindu Visitation and Ritual Service will be held for Sameer in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Private Hindu Ritual and Cremation Service at Woodlawn North Purchase Crematory, Attleboro, MA.
