Sally Ann Cobb

September 9, 1947 — June 8, 2024

Sally Cobb   76
Sally died unexpectedly and peacefully in Attleboro MA on Saturday June 8, 2024 after a brief illness.  Sally was born in Worcester, MA daughter of Cecile and Frank Dickinson.
An early marriage to Dr. William Cobb, gave her two loving daughters, Alicia and Monica.   She will forever remain in the hearts of Alicia Leeds and her partner Leslie Choro Meyers of Cold Spring, NY and Monica Bautista and her husband, Jesse and her grandchildren, Isabelle, Jack and Will Bautista of San Francisco and Roseville CA.
Sally's family in Massachusetts includes her partner for life Allen Knowles, her sister, Nancy Jackson, her nephew Ben Jackson and his wife Aimee and their girls, Evie and Quinn, and her niece Molly Jackson and husband Troy Mercy.
For nearly 40 years, Sally and  Allen have made Attleboro their home.  Sally was creative and artistic and known for her pottery studio and her unique skills, refined pots and custom glazes.  She and Allen were also known for their wildly successful plant sale each May that drew hundreds of people to their stunning backyard garden.  There will be plants blooming for future decades  in Attleboro and across the state from the rootings and cuttings that Sally grew and carefully tended.
For the past decade, Sally turned her attention to charitable involvement in the community with organizations such as the Attleboro YMCA, and  the Attleboro Arts Museum.  Most recently she was a Co-Founder of Empty Bowls Attleboro.
" Feeding those in need was her mission and to this end she was at times an unstoppable force."  Empty Bowls Team
