Ruth Irma (Randall) Lund, 76, of North Washington Street, North Attleboro; formerly of East Washington Street, North Attleboro, died on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Harry P. Lund, Jr. who died eleven years ago. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts on February 23, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Walter M. and Mildred Goff (Varley) Randall. She resided in North Attleboro for the past 40 years having previously resided in Attleboro and in Norton where she was raised and educated. Mrs. Lund was employed as an inspector at the former Motorola Company in Mansfield for many years prior to her retirement. She was a longtime and active member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Seekonk where she served as a member and treasurer of the Missions Committee, was the former chairperson of the Christian Education Committee and volunteer for any and all church functions and activities. Her favorite pastimes included reading, quilting, gardening, cross stitching and loved spending time with her family and favorite companion, Zoey, her little Pomeranian the last few years. She leaves three children: Linda Jean Dugas of North Attleboro; Andrea R. Bonda of Attleboro and Kathleen G. Kazarian of Warwick, Rhode Island; a sister: Joan Randall of North Attleboro; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several extended family members. She was the sister of the late Howard Randall. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Burial will be private.
