Russell Hewins, 86, of Lakeville, MA, peacefully passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Golden Living Center Oak Hill in Middleborough, MA. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Gurney) Hewins, to whom he was married for fifty years.Born in Whitman, MA on March 15, 1930, he was the son of the late Raymond E. Hewins and the late Stella Belle (MacFarland) Hewins.Russell proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Army.
