Roy Corso

Roy Corso, 82, of Medway, MA, formerly of Attleboro, MA passed away at his residence on August 12, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (McFadden) Corso to whom he was married on September 10, 1966.

Born in Boston, MA on December 4, 1942, he was a son of the late Joseph Corso and the late Phillipa (Leone) Corso. He was raised and educated in his native city of Boston, MA where he was a 1960 graduate of Boston Latin High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Boston College in 1964 and his master's degree in business management from Suffolk University in 1972.

Roy was a proud member of the Massachusetts National Guard.

He and his family moved to the area 50 years ago and settled in the City of Attleboro.

Mr. Corso was a devout Catholic and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro, MA where he served as a lector and was a member of the Serra Club.

An active member of the community, he was a member and served as past president of the Attleboro Rotary Club where he was the recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow award.

As a commercial insurance executive, he worked for the Richardson-Cuddy agency in Attleboro, MA for 35 years prior to his retirement. Previously, he had been employed by Travelers Insurance.

In addition to his wife of almost 60 years, he leaves his children: Christopher Roy Corso and his wife, Erin Corso, of Attleboro, MA and Susan M. Bruno and her husband, Mark Bruno, of Holliston, MA; his cherished grandchildren: Arianna Galindo, Hannah Bruno, Kaitlin Corso, Matthew Corso and Patrick Corso and extended family members and dear friends.

He was the brother of the late I. Joseph “Sonny” Corso.

Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend Visitation on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

All are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 132 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.

There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass.

Private burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro, MA.

Following Mass an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments at the Town Tavern and Tap,
Tri-Boro Plaza, 11 Robert Toner Blvd., North Attleboro, MA 02763 .

Contributions can be made at bostonchildrens.org/giveinmemory or mail checks, payable to Boston Children's Hospital, to Boston Children’s Hospital Trust, 401 Park Drive, Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215-5301.
