Rosemary Ellen (Kelley) Force, 92, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Retired Lieutenant Robert "Bob" Force of the Pawtucket, RI, Police Department, the true love of her life. Bob and Rosemary were high school sweethearts and an inseparable couple who were married for sixty-nine wonderful years.
Born on August 13, 1927 in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Kelley and the late Helen (Geraghty) Kelley.
A graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Rosemary lived in Attleboro for the past several years, having previously lived for many years in Cumberland, RI, where she was a member of Saint John Vianney Church.
Rosemary was the loving mother of Linda Bardsley; Robert P. Force Sr. and his wife, Lucille; Rosemary Stimpel and her husband, William; Mark J. Force and his wife, Bethany; and Craig S. Force Sr. and his wife, Jeanne, who was like a daughter to her. Rosemary wished to especially recognize Craig and Jeanne for their devotion, love, and their care of her. She leaves seventeen cherished grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, all of whom were her pride and joy. She was predeceased by her beautiful great-granddaughter, Carly Rose Force. Rosemary was the sister of the late Joseph P. Kelley, the late Edward Kelley, the late Gertrude A. Pichette, and the late Claire M. Pratt. She leaves many nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
A Private Visitation will be held for Rosemary on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 in the "Memorial Chapel: of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Private Funeral Service at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be privately held in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI, at which time Rosemary will be laid to rest alongside her dear late husband, Bob.
