Rosemary Abbott

Rosemary (Jennings) Abbott, 91, of Mary Chase Road in Eastham, MA, passed away at Pleasant Bay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Brewster, MA on Friday, June 26, 2015. She was the wife of the late George E. Abbott, to whom she was married on April 26, 1946 and who passed away on August 14, 2004. Born in Syracuse, NY on August 9, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Chester S. Jennings and Mary (Brown) Jennings. Mrs. Abbott was employed as an office worker for many years before retiring in 1984. She was a graduate of the Hillside School in Norwalk, CT, and attended Radcliffe College. She leaves her beloved daughter, Deborah Abbott of Eastham, MA. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Funeral services are private, as are burial services in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Pembroke, MA.
