Rose Marie Ruddy

Rose M. (Germaine) Ruddy, 76, a lifelong North Attleboro resident, died on Sunday, February 26, 2012. She was the wife of the late Lawrence J. Ruddy. Born in North Attleboro on August 30, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Victoria (Cavalieri) Germaine. She was raised and educated in North Attleboro and remained a lifelong resident of the community. She leaves two sons: Michael J. Ruddy and his wife, Sharon A. (Bowe) Ruddy of North Attleboro and Samuel L. Ruddy and his wife, Melissa (Thibeault) Ruddy, of Bedford, New Hampshire; four granddaughters: Lauren, Leslie, Lily and Leah Ruddy all of North Attleboro; a sister: Mafalda Laramee of West Palm Beach, Florida; a brother: Benedict Germaine of North Attleboro and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. She was the sister of the late Susanne P. Wignall, Anne E. Darah and Anna Germaine. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8:45 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, Stanley Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Thomas Frechette, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the Funeral Mass. Following cemetery services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
