Ronald Leon Tetreault

Ronald Leon Tetreault, 83 Ronald Leon Tetreault, 83, of Canterbury Woods, Garfield Avenue, Attleboro; died on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Lifecare Center of Attleboro following a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Theresa Marie (Pelland) Tetreault who died in 1990. Born in Lincoln, Rhode Island on January 8, 1928, he was a South Attleboro resident for most of his life prior to moving to Celebration, Florida where he resided for five years before returning to Massachusetts and settling in Attleboro three years ago. He was a veteran of the Untied States Navy having served during the World War II era. Mr. Tetreault was employed as a truck driver for the former Pully Bulk Company based out of New York and later was employed by Paramount Greeting Card Company in Central Falls, Rhode Island prior to his retirement. In earlier years, Mr. Tetreault was a communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in South Attleboro. He leaves five children: Laura M. Dupuis of Attleboro; Ronald Tetreault of Cumberland, Rhode Island; Linda Tetreault of Attleboro; Richard Tetreault of Cumberland, Rhode Island and Sandra Fudy in North Carolina; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by all of his siblings. Visitation has been respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Tetreaults name may be made to the Dyer-Lake Charitable Foundation, Inc., a registered 501 (c) 3 organization, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA 02703 to benefit cancer research through the American Cancer Society.
