Ronald "Ron" Brian Peirce, 62, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 30, 2018. He was the beloved fiancée and best friend of Shirley A. (LeBrun) Cloutier of Attleboro for the past twenty-four years. Ron was born on April 12, 1956 in Attleboro. He was the loving and much loved son of Doris M. (Lincks) Peirce of Attleboro, who will forever miss him, and of the late Alden D. Peirce.A lifelong resident of Attleboro, Ron attended Attleboro High School. He was a Department Manager for the Boston Globe, and worked for the Sun Chronicle newspaper for many years, as well as for Dodgeville Mill Fabric Manufacturing Company in Attleboro, and Creative Modeling & Die Manufacturing in North Attleboro.Ron enjoyed the simple things in life: having a good cup of coffee with friends at the Honey Dew in Attleboro, and riding his motorcycle. He was fascinated with eagles, and proudly collected stamps and beer steins. More than anything, Ron loved being with his family.In addition to his fiancée, Shirley, and his mother, Doris, he leaves his siblings: Patti A. Kulibaba and her husband, Paul J. Kulibaba, of North Dighton, MA; and Richard "Rick" S. Peirce of North Attleboro, MA, his companion, Michelle "Shelly" A. Wood, and his former wife, Mary I. (Hurst) Peirce. Ron was predeceased by his siblings: William D. Peirce, David B. Peirce, and Donna L. Hosford. He was the step-father of Crystal A. Knight of Mableton, GA; William M. Cloutier of Braintree, MA; Jesse R. Cloutier of Dracut, MA; and Justin L. Cloutier of Attleboro, MA. He was the adoring step-grandfather of Brielle A. Knight, Brandan A. Knight, and Nora Mae Cloutier. He leaves several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and many dear friends. Ron was the former husband of Tracy M. (Elliott) Peirce of Attleboro, MA.Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Ron by gathering for a Visitation on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
