Ronald Alan Beach, 89, of Mansfield, MA; formerly of North Attleboro, MA and Florida, passed away on May 31, 2024, at HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Rose H. (Fontaine) Beach.
Born in Westfield, MA on May 29, 1935, he was a son of the late Frederick Beach and the late Elvira (Anderson) Beach. Raised and educated in his native community, Mr. Beach was a graduate of Westfield High School and later attended technical school.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force having achieved the rank of Staff Sgt. at the time of his honorable discharge.
Mr. Beach was employed as an engineer for the former Foxboro Company, Raytheon and Northrop Grumman Corporation prior to his retirement.
While residing in North Attleboro, MA, Mr. Beach was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary and more recently attended St. Mary's Church in Norton, MA.
He was a member of the North Attleboro Lions Club for many years.
His favorite pastimes included square dancing and ballroom dancing, playing golf, reading, especially James Patterson novels, and enjoyed all the New England sports teams.
In addition to his wife, he leaves three children: Richard G. Beach of New Castle, California ; Janet R. Cook and her husband, Ryan Cook, of Easton, MA and Kathy Ann Cziria and her husband, Adam Cziria, of North Attleboro, MA; eight grandchildren: Carly Bayer, Jared Beach, Tracy Beach, Dylan Cook, Kyra Cook, Bryn Cook, Kaylin Cziria, Ashlyn Cziria; one great grandchild: Layla Bayer; his brother: Richard Beach in Florida and many extended family members and dear friends.
He was the brother of the late Roger Beach.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Private burial services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2024 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
