Roger Paul Alix, Sr., 82, of North Attleboro, MA passed away peacefully on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Dale (Bellavance) Alix to whom he was married on April 28, 1962 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in North Attleboro, MA and who passed on April 27, 2016.
Born in North Attleboro, MA on October 21, 1938, he was a son of the late Arthur O. Alix and the late Maria E. (Dargis) Alix. He was a lifelong resident of North Attleboro, MA and was a graduate of North Attleboro High School - Class of 1956.
Mr. Alix proudly served in the United States Army having honorably served from February 12, 1962 until February 11, 1964.
A self-employed carpenter, Mr. Alix was the owner and operator of Alix and Son from 1975 until his retirement in 2012 having specialized in building residential custom homes.
He was a longtime communicant of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - Sacred Heart.
An avid hockey fan he particularly enjoyed dining out, especially at Wright's Farm in Burrillville, Rhode Island.
Mr. Alix leaves his son: Roger P. Alix, Jr. of North Attleboro, MA; two sisters: Suzanne A. (Alix) Connelly of North Attleboro, MA and Constance "Connie" B. (Alix) Feid of North Attleboro, MA; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. He was the brother of the late Arthur J. Alix and the late Roland G. Alix.

With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the use of facemasks, family and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary, Park Street, North Attleboro. Church seating is limited.
