Rochelle O. (Poirier) Gagne, 80, of North Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry F. Gagne who died on July 25, 2006.Born on July 13, 1935 in North Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leon Poirier and the late Florida (Deschenes) Poirier. A lifelong resident of North Attleboro, she was a graduate of North Attleboro High School. Rochelle worked for many years as a Solderer for Texas Instruments. She was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls.The core of Rochelle's life was her faith and her family. She was a prayerful woman who found strength in her church and her religion. She genuinely treasured time spent with her family, especially the joy of her grandchildren and cherished great-granddaughter. Rochelle was an avid reader who also enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and the pleasure of dining out. She is survived by her children: Francis J. Gagne and his wife, Lisa Gagne, of Pawtucket, RI; and David R. Gagne of Attleboro, MA; her sister: Lucille (Poirier) Bell and her husband, Phillip Bell, of South Attleboro, MA; and her brother: Ronald Poirier and his wife Lee Poirier, of North Attleboro, MA; her grandchildren: Nicole Gagne of Warwick, RI; and Matthew Gagne and his wife, Danielle Gagne, of Seekonk, MA; her great-granddaughter: Delilah Gagne; as well as several nieces and nephews.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Children's room is available during visitation and while the funeral cortege is being organized.Those in need of a local ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such complimentary transportation.
