Roberta Theresa Desvoyaux

February 26, 1926 — July 20, 2019

Roberta Theresa (Lynch) Desvoyaux, 93, of Middleboro, MA, formerly of South Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleboro.  She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Lionel Desvoyaux to whom she was married on July 4, 1946 and who passed away on February 15, 2006.
Born on February 26, 1926 in Pawtucket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Farrell Lynch and the late Ellen Agnes (Nolan) Lynch.
Raised and educated in Pawtucket, she was a graduate of William E. Tolman High School and completed one year of college. Roberta worked for many years as an Injection Molder and Machine Operator for Sebago Molders in North Attleboro, before retiring at the age of 85.
Roberta was a resident of South Attleboro from 1957 until 2011 where she attended St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Parish.
She loved to cook and genuinely enjoyed the simple things in life: walking her dog and taking trips to the mall. What others thought of as chores, Roberta found satisfying: shoveling snow, raking leaves, and taking pride in washing her floors every day.
Roberta was the loving mother of Albert Arthur Desvoyaux of Mashpee, MA and Ellen Ann Scott, R.N., of Sandwich, MA.  She was the proud and adoring grandmother of eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.  Roberta was predeceased by her siblings: Raymond Lynch, Helen Monast, Mary McCaughey, Rita Korlacki, Vincent Lynch, John Lynch, Francis Lynch, and Edmund Lynch.
Friends and family were invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 9:30 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of  the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
