Robert A. Worthington Sr.

Robert Allen Worthington, Sr.,76, of Attleboro, MA passed away at his residence on May 12, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of the late Louise Rita (Choiniere) Worthington to whom he was married on February 25, 1967, and who died on February 14, 2010.
Born in Attleboro, MA on November 1, 1945, he was a son of the late Roy Worthington and the late Alice (Ankevitz) Worthington.  He attended and graduated from Attleboro High School.  He was employed by Renova Lighting Systems in Mansfield for many years prior to his retirement.
He was raised and educated in the City of Attleboro and then moved to North Attleboro, MA where he resided until returning to Attleboro 21 years ago.
An avid golfer in recent years, he enjoyed playing at Stone-E-Lea and Chemawa golf course, cultivating his tomato garden and was an ardent reader.
He leaves two sons: Robert A. Worthington, Jr. and his wife, Kelli (Davenport) Worthington, of Mansfield, MA and Jason J. Worthington and his wife, Christine (DiGiando) Worthington, of Uxbridge, MA; three grandchildren: Matthew and Ryan Worthington both of Uxbridge, MA and Julianne Worthington of Mansfield, MA; his siblings: Linda Tingley and Edna Sylvia both of Ocala, Florida and Cheryl Worthington of Sarasota, Florida and several extended family members and dear friends.
He was the brother of the late Russell Worthington and the late Betty Allan.
A private Celebration of Life will be held in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private.
