Robert Alfred Troland, 89, of Middleborough, MA, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth. He was the beloved husband of Carol Troland to whom he was married on June 7, 1953.
Born in Boston, MA on October 1, 1932, he was a son of the late James Troland and the late Constantina (Pettanato) Troland.
He resided in Middleborough his entire life. A proud patriot, he served with the United States Airforce from October 20, 1950 - October 20, 1954 and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Mr. Troland was employed as an accountant and inventory manager for Cabot Stains for 20 years prior to retiring in 1994.
In addition to his wife, he leaves four sons: Thomas, Douglas, David, and John; three grandchildren and extended family members.
A private committal service with military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
