Robert Milton Stephens

Robert Milton Stephens, 73, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on July 9, 2025, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Joanne Mason (Olmstead) Stephens to whom he was married on July 21, 1975.

Born in Attleboro, MA on February 29, 1952, he was a son of the late Roy Stephens and the late Veronica Teresa (Smith) Stephens.

He was a 1971 graduate of King Philip High School.

Mr. Stephens was employed as a toolmaker for Leach & Garner in Attleboro, MA for many years prior to his retirement in February 2014.

He attended the Plainville United Methodist Church.

One of his favorite pastimes included those spent driving around in his corvette and as a member of the Triboro Corvette Club. He also enjoyed making and flying model airplanes and the times spent hunting, fishing and camping.

In addition to his wife of almost 50 years, he leaves his son: Eric Robert Stephens of North Attleboro, MA; his sister: Janith L. (Stephens) Hancock and her husband, Ross C. Hancock, of North Attleboro, MA; his wife's siblings: David Olmstead and his wife, Gail Olmstead, of Falmouth, MA; Judith Thomas and her husband, Steven Thomas, in Florida; Jacqueline Silva of Pawtucket, RI, the wife of the late Richard "Rick" Silva and the late Terry Stephens, husband of Charlotte Stephens; several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Family and friends are welcome to attend Visitation on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by Reflections and a Celebration of His Life at 11:00 am also in the "Memorial Chapel".

Burial will follow in the Plainville Cemetery, Plainville, MA.
