Robert W. Stella

Robert (Bob) William Stella, 69, of Buzzards Bay, MA, passed away on Thursday, April 4th, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. He was the beloved husband of Stacy (Souza) Stella. They were happily married just shy of 36 years.
He was born on February 6th, 1955, in Boston, Massachusetts, to loving parents, the late Arthur C. Stella and Jeanette M. (Myhal) Stella.
Bob worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He had a passion for cars and trucks even winning many racing trophies in his younger days. Bob was a very generous, hard working man, loved by many, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His wife, children and grandchildren were the light of his life.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Nicole Bassett and her husband Jeremy of Vermont, Jamie Figueroa and her fiancé Jacob Flynn of East Wareham, MA., and Kyle Stella of Buzzards Bay, MA; and cherished grandchildren, Isaiah and Hailey Figueroa and Liam and Maeve Flynn. He is also survived by his sister, Tracey Alberti  and her husband Robert of Carver, MA; his father-in-law, Stephen Souza and mother-in-law, Janet Souza both of Onset, MA., sisters-in-law, Sheryl Lyon, Kristen McAfee and her husband Sean and Kimberly Souza. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Stephen Souza Jr. And many dear nieces and nephews.
