Robert R. "Bob" Southworth, 85, of Robinson Avenue, South Attleboro, died on June 6, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket, R.I. He was the husband of Constance T. (Pariseau) Southworth on January 26, 1952. Born on September 22, 1928 in Cumberland, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Robert and Janet (Hesmondhalgh) Southworth. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Southworth was employed as a laborer for Owens Corning Fiberglass in Ashton, Rhode Island for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1985. He resided in Attleboro for the past 57 years. In his spare time he enjoyed watching the birds in nature, following the stock market, studying current events and past history. Mr. Southworth was an ardent sports enthusiast and was a great fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. Although he had many interests, nothing was as strong as his love for his family. In addition to his wife, he leaves seven children: Susan M. Osiensky of Moscow, Idaho; Debra A. Monastesse of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; Linda E. Warner of Swansea; Roberta E. Francisco of Cranston, Rhode Island; Robert O. Southworth of Mansfield; Glenn W. Southworth of Attleboro and Sandra C. Johnson of Glocester, Rhode Island; 14 grandchildren: Tracy, Leigh, Brant, Kacie, Ashley, Jenna, Kevin, Jodie, Derek, Bridget, Craig, Elliot, Christopher and Owen; several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. He was the brother of the late Edna Cardin, Bernice Bryant, Lillian Leach, Janet Pickles and Donald Southworth.
