Robert Eugene Reavey

Robert "Bob" Eugene Reavey, 87, of North Attleboro, MA passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. He was the husband of the late Alice Virginia (Affleck) Reavey to whom he was married on September 11, 1992, and who passed away on April 28, 2022.

Born in Providence, Rhode Island on April 4, 1938, he was a son of the late Edward K. Reavey, Sr. and the late Helen G. (McGuire) Reavey. He was raised and educated in Providence and was a graduate of LaSalle Academy - Class of 1955.

Mr. Reavey was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was employed as a sprinkler fitter for Boston Sprinkler Fitters as a member of Union 550.

Mr. Reavey was an ardent New England sports fan. He will be remembered as being a giving and generous person to numerous non-profit organizations.

He was the father of Thomas E. Reavey and his wife, Christine McQuiggan, of Narragansett, Rhode Island and Jean Marie Reavey of Warren, Rhode Island; grandfather of Paul Lambrou of Cumberland, Rhode Island and great grandfather of Elliana Lambrou of Cumberland, Rhode Island and uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Reavey was the brother of the late Helen Daniels-Reavey, Edward K. Reavey, Jr., Henry F. Reavey and Marjorie Gallant Reavey.

Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend visitation on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

The funeral cortege will leave at 12:00 noon from the "Memorial Chapel" and proceed to Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence, Rhode Island for committal prayers.

Following services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
