Robert Raulino, 77, of Knight Avenue, Attleboro, died at his residence surrounded by his family following a long illness on Monday, January 14, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Thibault) Raulino to whom he was married on April 7, 1956. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on January 17, 1935, he was the only child of Portuguese immigrants - the late Manuel and Mary (Almeida) Raulino. He was raised and educated in his native community of Fall River and was a graduate of Durfee High School. Mr. Raulino was a retired employee of Texas Instruments in Attleboro where he had been employed for more than 25 years as a bell furnace operator. Following his retirement, he was employed as a courier for five years until illness forced his final retirement. He was a resident of Attleboro since 1961 and attended St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in the Dodgeville neighborhood of Attleboro with his wife. While employed at Texas Instruments, Mr. Raulino was a member of the company bowling and softball teams. He enjoyed tinkering around his home doing various woodworking projects. In addition to his cherished wife of 56 years, he leaves two sons: Bruce Raulino of South Attleboro and Mark Raulino in Florida; four grandchildren: Sarah Beaulieu of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; Jonathan Raulino in Colorado; Robert Raulino of South Attleboro and Matthew Raulino of Pawtucket, Rhode Island and extended family members and friends. Public visitation has been respectfully omitted. Private visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Raulino may be made to the Dyer-Lake Charitable Foundation, Inc., a registered 501 (c) 3 organization, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA 02760 to benefit the American Cancer Society.
