Robert "Bobby" John McCormick Jr., 60, of North Attleboro, MA passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.
Born in Boston, MA on July 23rd, 1962, he was the son of the late Robert John McCormick Sr. and the late Grace Maria (Palmer) Trudeau.
Bobby was a graduate of Special Needs Education and local Special Needs Programs. He dedicated many years to Johnny's Foodmaster in Charlestown, MA, proudly receiving awards in recognition for his hard work as a store clerk and bagger.
He had a curiosity for how things worked, often times taking things apart and putting them back together. He liked gadgets and anything to do with electricity. Bobby wouldn't hesitate to lend a helping hand towards home improvements or being a Mr. Fix It when something wasn't working right.
Autumn was one of Bobby's favorite seasons. He couldn't wait to see the stores put out a variety of different types of pumpkins, real or fake, for his choosing. He got a lot of enjoyment out of the holiday season, visiting Santa with his family and watching the specials on TV, especially Rudolph.
When he wasn't working, Bobby was very active with the Department of Youth Services and the Jewish Vocational Service volunteering his time to help in programs. When he took time for himself, Bobby liked to relax and tune in to various shows but This Old House, Judge Judy, and court shows were his favorite.
Bobby had an amazing personality, which gave him the ability to make friends everywhere he went. He had a deep love for animals and brought many of them into his home throughout the years. He shared his home with his cat, Moonglow, for the last 17 years.
He leaves his sisters: Kathleen M. McCarthy of North Attleboro, MA; Grace F. McCormick, of Hanover, MA; His brother, Albert P. McCormick, of Jamaica Plain, MA several nieces and nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
