Robert Earl Loiselle, 71 Robert Earl Loiselle, 71, of Armstrong Drive, North Attleboro, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro following a period of declining health. He was the husband of Lucille L. (Lemoine) Loiselle to whom he was married on September 2, 1961. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on May 22, 1939, he was a son of the late George and Estelle (Lussier) Loiselle. He was raised in Pawtucket and was a 1957 graduate of the former Sacred Heart Academy in Central Falls, Rhode Island. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from the former Bryant College. Mr. Loiselle proudly served in the United States Army. He was employed as a systems analyst for the Polaroid Corporation for many years prior to his retirement. Following his retirement, Mr. Loiselle was a self-employed consultant in the computer industry having worked primarily with State Street Bank in Boston. A resident of North Attleboro for the past 42 years, he was a former resident of Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church in the Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. His favorite pastimes included time spent saltwater fishing; playing card games, especially poker, pitch, high-low jack and cribbage, with family and friends and bowling. He enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the United States and internationally and was a dedicated fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. For several years, he and his wife enjoyed time spent at their home in Naples, Florida. In addition to his cherished wife of almost 50 years, he leaves two daughters: Diane L. Miller and her husband, Mark D. Miller, of Tyngsboro and Linda L. Guzik and her husband, Gregory Guzik, of Glendale, California; four grandchildren: Shelby Miller of Tyngsboro; Jeffrey Miller of Tyngsboro; Benjamin Guzik of Glendale, California and Samuel Guzik of Glendale, California; five brothers: George Loiselle of Warwick, Rhode Island; Martin Loiselle of Warwick, Rhode Island; Victor Loiselle of Norton; Leo Loiselle of Cranston, Rhode Island and Richard Loiselle of East Providence, Rhode Island and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation with Veterans Honors on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 5:00 8:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Those in need of a ride to visitation may simply call (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis local transportation. Childrens room available during visitation. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp for 3/4 of a mile, take right onto Stanley Street), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating. There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of the funeral Mass. Burial will be private. Following church services an invitation will be extended to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced. Please do not send flowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dyer-Lake Charitable Foundation, Inc., a registered 501 (c) 3 organization, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, MA 02760 to benefit the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
