Robert Norman Lebrun

Robert "Bob" Norman LeBrun, 58, of Pawtucket, RI, peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at his home with his loving wife, Janice M. (Roy) LeBrun, at his side. Born on October 16, 1957 in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of Irene (Harlow) LeBrun of Attleboro, MA, and the late Albert LeBrun.A resident of Pawtucket for the last three years, he previously resided in Warwick, RI. Bob worked for twelve years as a Security Guard for GTE. He was a man who delighted in the simple things in life: music, movies, and television shows from the 1950's and '60's; watching the Red Sox; shopping at Shaw's and Stop & Shop; history; and the 700 Club. He valued the opportunity to have been a stay-at-home dad and caregiver to his family, and truly loved time spent with his family and friends, and with his late faithful companion, "Scotty". In addition to his wife, he is survived by his beloved sons: Ryan James LeBrun and Christopher Robert LeBrun. He was the brother of Albert LeBrun and his wife, Paula, of Attleboro, MA; and Shirley (LeBrun) Cloutier of Attleboro, MA. He leaves several nieces and nephews and his extended family.Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service immediately following visitation on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.Children's room is available during visitation and the funeral service.Those in need of a local ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such complimentary transportation.
