Robert C. Jacques, Sr.

Robert Charles Jacques, Sr., 83, of Plainville, MA passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA following complications from Covid-19.
Born in Attleboro, MA on June 3, 1937, he was a son of the late Charles Arsene Jacques and the late Doris Elizabeth (Revette) Jacques.
He was a graduate of the former Plainville High School and resided in Plainville for the past 40 years having previously resided for four years when employment brought him to Germany. He had previously resided in North Attleboro for several years.
Mr. Jacques was an insurance agent having worked for Metropolitan and as an independent agent.
A devout Catholic, he had attended St. Martha Parish.
His favorite pastimes included traveling in his RV for more than 20 years and he particularly enjoyed camping and the occasional moose sighting.
He leaves two children: Robert C. Jacques, Jr. of Taunton and Kevin Jacques in Virginia; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother: Donald Jacques in Texas and several extended family members and friends. He was the former husband of the late Betty Ann (Kissel) Jacques.
All services will be private.
