Robert Charles Henell, 87, of Millbury, MA, most recently of Norton, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth V. (Johnston) Henell who died on November 24, 2015. Born on August 29, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI, he worked for many years as a self-employed Mason.A longtime resident of Framingham before moving to Millbury, followed by Norton, he was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Framingham, MA. Robert was the original "American Picker", and those who knew him knew he coined, and lived by, the phrase "Just Do It" long before Nike. He loved gardening and enjoyed stamp collecting, and more than anything, he loved being with his family.He is survived by his three cherished sons: Paul R. Henell and his wife, Carole Henell, of Marlton, NJ; Steven A. Henell and his wife, Linda Henell, of Marco Island, FL; and Thomas C. Henell and his wife, Monica Henell, of North Attleboro, MA; and seven treasured grandchildren: Catie, Sarah, Makena, Sean, Cameryn, Connor, and Luke. Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Robert by gathering for a Visitation on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
