Robert "Bob" Edwin Maxwell

Robert "Bob" Edwin Maxwell, 62, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2020 in North Attleboro. He was the husband of Lynne C. (Hastings) Maxwell whom he married on August 23, 1980.
Born on February 26, 1958 in Manchester, NH, Bob was the loving son of the late Robert E. Maxwell and the late Janet (Murray) Maxwell.
Raised and educated in Nashua, NH, he was a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School, Class of 1976 and was also a graduate of The University of New Hampshire, Class of 1980.
Bob was a resident of North Attleboro for the past eight years, having previously lived in Mansfield, MA for over fifteen years.
As a store manager at Kmart for twenty-three years, Bob worked at various locations, most recently for the South Attleboro Kmart. He also worked many retail jobs at various area companies.
In his free time Bob enjoyed curling and golf and was an avid sports fan. He cherished time spent with his family, especially with his beloved granddaughter, and was fond of the outdoors. Going to Cape Cod in the summertime, specifically Osterville, MA, was a family tradition he adored. Bob was an animal lover who held a special place in his heart for the many cats he welcomed into his family over the years.
In addition to his wife, Bob leaves his four children: Kimberly E. Proulx and her husband, Joshua R. Proulx, of Brooklyn, CT; Courtney L. Burke and her husband, William F. Burke, of Attleboro, MA; Ryan E. Maxwell and his wife, Renee N. Maxwell, of Marlborough, MA; and Nathan M. Maxwell and his wife, Courtney Maxwell, of Somerset, MA. He leaves his grandchild, Alexandra "Lexi" N. Proulx of Brooklyn, CT; his dear aunt Edna Farrington of Osterville, MA and her late husband, John B. Farrington; and three cousins: John Farrington and his wife, Susan Farrington; Jill Schulz and her husband, Albert Schulz; and Jan Macallister  and her husband, Bruce Macallister, all of Osterville, MA. Bob also leaves many dear friends.
Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Osterville, MA.
