Robert Allen Carroll, 69, of Missy Lane, South Attleboro, MA, unexpectedly passed away at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston on Tuesday, September 15, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Laura M. (McEwen) Carroll of South Attleboro, MA. Born on March 14, 1946 in Middleboro, MA, he was a son of the late Judith (Thorndike) Carroll. He resided in South Attleboro since 1988. Robert was employed as a Motorcoach Driver for Tremblay's Bus Co. of New Bedford, MA, having previously been employed by Bloom Bus Lines, Inc. of Taunton, MA in the same capacity for ten years. He took tremendous pride as a professional driver, playing a very important part of Robert's life. In addition to the enjoyment he received from his profession, Robert loved to follow Fox News and voice his political views. Most important to him, though, was the love of his family and the time spent with them, particularly his treasured grandchildren, whom he deeply loved. He was always taking them to the fun places that he had been to on his bus trips. He was devoted to his grandchildren and spent many hours at Chuck E. Cheese's and having tea parties. In addition to his loving wife, Laura, he is survived by his four children: Jean Marie St. Andre and her husband, Robert J. St. Andre, of South Attleboro, MA; Michele I. Pereira and her husband, Thomas M. Pereira, of South Attleboro, MA; Robert J. Carroll of North Attleboro, MA; and Jennifer Amy Carroll and her companion, Daniel R. Taillon of North Attleboro, MA. He was the brother of Steven Carroll of Providence, Maureen Holden of Warwick, RI, Arthur Carroll, Mike Carroll, Richard Carroll, and Judi Tougas of FL. Robert also leaves his cherished grandchildren: Brittany Bishaw, Dylan Bishaw, Madeleine St. Andre, Daniel Pereira, Jon Pereira, Hannah Pereira, Madisyn Pereira, Ryleigh Pereira, Evan Carroll and Samantha Taillon; and one beloved great-grandson, Shane Bishaw-Hancock.
