Robert Ernest Allard, Jr., 62, Attleboro, passed away on Monday,November 4, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on April 24, 1951, he was a son of the late Robert E. Allard, Sr. and Thelma M. (Giles) Allard and grandson of the late Wardell and Lillian Giles. Mr. Allard was a 1970 graduate of North Attleboro High School and worked for many years at the former Foxboro Company in Foxboro. Mr. Allard was known for his love of fishing, especially on Cape Cod. He was also a fan of wrestling, the New England Patriots and Pink Floyd. Mr. Allard leaves two children: Johnathan R. Allard and Elizabeth S. Allard, both of Concord, New Hampshire; one sister and two brothers: Shirley A. (Allard) Marchand; Kevin W. Allard, Sr. and Christopher M. Allard, all of Attleboro; three grandchildren: Johnathan Allard, Dylan Allard and Gabrielle Allard, all of Concord, New Hampshire; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Graveside Funeral Service on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Newell Burying Ground, 1502 West Street, South Attleboro.
