Rita Mary Young

Rita Mary (Richards) Young, 88, a resident of Attleboro for more than 40 years, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Golden Living Center, Garden Place, in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Ronald E. Young, who predeceased her on April 15, 2006, and the wife of the late Stanley Mach. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada on August 22, 1925, she was a daughter of the late James and Elva Agnes (McGovern) Richards. Mrs. Young retired from Texas Instruments where she was an inspector. Rita was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Attleboro. Yard sales were her passion. Rita is survived by her three children: Deborah Tavares and her husband, Antonio Tavares; Stanley Mach and Jeffrey Mach; her sister Elva Tatro, seven grandchildren: Antonio Tavares, Stanley Mach, Clinton Mach, Michelle Mach, Jolene Mach, Holly Mach and Hailey McCracken and one great-grandchild, Violet Mach. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Tracey and Ronald Richards.
