Rita Catherine Medeiros

Rita C. Medeiros, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Madonna Manor, at the age of 93. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Boston, MA she was the cherished daughter of the late George Finn and the late Mary (Toohey) Finn.

Rita's life was defined by selflessness, hard work and unwavering love for her children. Her warm smile, charming wit and compassionate nature were a comfort and inspiration to anyone who met her.

Her memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves her children: James Roderick of North Attleboro, MA; Robin Williams of Cumberland, RI; Robert Roderick and his wife, Kimberle, in Oregon; Gary Roderick and his wife, Paula, in Arizona; Teri Crovello and her husband, David, of Freetown, MA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and her loving niece: Cynthia Vinhateiro of North Attleboro, MA. She was the mother of the late Mary Roderick.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

Private burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA.
