Rita E. (Clabby) Hall, 87, of Plainville, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Russell N. Hall who passed away on July 22, 1989. Born in East Providence, RI on March 13, 1926, she was a daughter of the late William Clabby, Sr. and Margaret (Mulvey) Clabby. A homemaker for most of her adult life, Mrs. Hall was very handy with yardwork and home projects. She loved the outdoors, especially gardening. An avid reader, old tv movie buff and die-hard Boston Red Sox fan; most important to Rita was family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her four children: Terrie A. Fournier, of Plainville; Kathy Meyer and her husband, Mitchell Meyer of North Attleboro; Russell M. Hall and Richard W. Hall, both of Worcester; one sister: Elizabeth "Betty" Beagen, of North Providence, RI. She also leaves nine grandchildren: Jamie L. Fournier; Heather, Nicole and Kayla Meyer; Sarah Hall; David Hall; Matthew Hall and his wife Christina; Jenna and Tiffany Hall; and two great-grandchildren: Gabriel and Bailey Hall. Rita was the sister of the late William Clabby, Jr. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right, mile on the left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Childrens room is available during the visitation. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend the funeral service on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 8:30 AM from the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home North Attleboro followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro, with the Rev. David A. Costa, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Attleboro Falls.
