Rita Marie (Bourgeois) Dumont, 78, of Morse Avenue, Plainville, died on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the wife of the late Albert H. Dumont to whom she was married on May 15, 1954 and entered into eternal rest on June 14, 1981. Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts on July 11, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Marie C. (Hebert) Bourgeois. Mrs. Dumont was raised and educated in North Attleboro and was a 1952 graduate of North Attleboro High School. She resided in Plainville for the past 34 years. Mrs. Dumont was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, North Attleboro. As an ardent square dancer for many years, Mrs. Dumont and her husband were members of the Silver City Twirlers, Taunton. Her favorite pastimes included crocheting, knitting, sewing and solving word search puzzles. She leaves three children: Donna R. Crawford and her husband, Dennis R. Crawford, of South Attleboro; Russell A. Dumont and his wife, Patricia A. (Miller) Dumont, of Plainville and David A. Dumont of Plainville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three siblings: Ernest C. Bourgeois of North Attleboro; Donald J. Bourgeois of North Attleboro and Doris M. Dumont of Plainville and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was the sister of the late J. Raymond Bourgeois.
