Rino Grassi

Rino Grassi, 85, of Blackstone, MA, peacefully passed away at the St. Camillus Health Care Center in Whitinsville, MA. He was the beloved husband of Verna Tracy Grassi, to whom he was married on November 10, 1953.Born on August 18, 1931 in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Cesare Grassi and the late Elizabeth (Carraro) Grassi.Rino proudly and honorably served our country in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1956. He then worked for many years in maintenance in the public school system before retiring. In addition to his wife, he leaves his cherished children: Debra Rossato and Alan Grassi, both of Blackstone, MA. He was the brother of Gilda Grassi of Uxbridge, MA, and Louise Grassi of Blackstone, MA and leaves his extended family.
