Richard John Paul Sr.

Richard John Paul Sr., 78, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, MA.  He was the beloved husband of Nancy E. (Savard) Paul, to whom he was married on May 13, 1961.
Born on December 18, 1940 in North Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Noel G. Paul and the late Doris M. (King) Morin.
Raised and educated in North Attleboro where he lived for forty-seven years, Richard had also resided in Attleboro for twelve years. He began work in 1964 as a machinist for the Foxboro Company in Foxboro, MA, where he remained until his retirement. Richard attended St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in North Attleboro for many years.
He was an ardent reader who enjoyed the peaceful pleasures of both salt and freshwater fishing, and most of all, spending time with his cherished family.
In addition to his wife, Nancy, he leaves his loving children: Christopher M. Paul Sr. and his wife, Karin L. (Barstow) Paul, of Attleboro, MA; and Michelle K. (Paul) Keene and her husband, Harvey Keene, of Statesville, NC. He was the beloved father of the late Richard J. Paul Jr. who passed away on July 15, 1986.  Richard was the proud and adoring grandfather of six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the dear brother of Wayne G. Paul of Norton, MA, and the late Judy Coughlin.
Funeral services and burial will be privately held.
